Don't say it!

It will come to no surprise to tell you that we are smart boys. If you say this word around here, we will promptly run for the door and try to put our shoes and coats on, all the way doing our best to say this word. Any ideas what that word might be? Here are a few clues:

Another clue: it's NOT swing, but it is our favorite place in the whole world these days!

That's right! It's the park! Park. Park. Park. Park. Park... Okay when can we go again?!

Operation Birth Control: Day 5

We're feeling a little bit better today, so we went out on a new adventure - to the grocery store! We were awesome helpers and held onto everything Brittany put in the cart. She scared us when she took it all out again and let that guy beep them, but thankfully we got all our good food back. It was a fun trip to the grocery store!

Here we are manning the cart:

Operation Birth Control: Days Three and Four

We're going to take a nod from a former president and throw up the "Mission Accomplished!" banner even though Mom and Dad aren't back yet. We've been really sick the past few days and have hardly stopped crying. Aidan even gave Brittany a good scare with a temp of 103.0 in the middle of the night. She took us into the doctor, but thankfully Auntie Lisa was there so Brittany didn't have to be the one to hold Aidan down when he had an x-ray and blood drawn. We told you it's been a crazy few days!! Thankfully we're on the mend now, and just have nasty green stuff running down our faces at all times. We're getting really excited for Mom and Dad to come home and snuggle with us! We'll post pictures tomorrow when our noses aren't so green and icky. Until then - Happy Mission Accomplished day!

Operation Birth Control: Day Two

Let us tell you, there is no way Britt and Dan are having babies any time soon! We were worried we were being too much fun so we laid it on thick today! We didn't have to work too hard at being cranky, though, because we are both getting some molars in. YUCK. Here's a few snapshots of our day:

We did some of this:

Some of this:
And a LOT of this:
Don't we look like fun? :)

Again for Mom: We had french toast and oranges for breakfast, banana for morning snack, baby tacos for lunch (ground beef, tortilla, tomato and cheese), crackers for afternoon snack, and baked potato for dinner. We didn't nap so well unless we were being held (especially Patrick!) but we perked up before bed time and had a lot of fun with Britt and Dan. We also made sure to snuggle with Brittany a ton, so don't worry about her. We know how to keep her coming back! :) We hope you're having a great time and we look forward to talking to you tomorrow! We love you!! (and Dad, too!)

Mission 2.0

That's right folks, we're now in full swing of Operation Birth Control 2.0! Mom and Dad left before we woke up this morning for some place warm and sunny. We really miss them, but we understand the need for a break, too. Can you imagine the strain on your eyes of looking at both of our cute faces day in and day out?! We try to stay away from mirrors so we don't have to deal with it too much. We can't wait for them to come back all refreshed late this weekend, but we know we have a task in front of us with Operation Birth Control. So far we've had a pretty normal day except for one thing: a puppy! Brittany brought her puppy, Willow, to play with us today and we have had so much fun! She's really soft and gives great kisses! We have been chasing her all around the main level today.

Dad says we used to have a puppy that looked just like her. I bet he was lots of fun! We really like having her around and hope to take her for a walk later tonight!

Oh, and Mom: we knew you'd wonder, so today we had Cheerios and yogurt for breakfast, blueberries for morning snack and ham and cheese omelets for lunch. We also took kind of a crappy nap this morning, but Brittany found some more molars that are popping through so she gave us some Motrin with lunch and we're having a really good afternoon nap. Enjoy the warm weather - we miss you already!!
