What a difference a year makes

Can you believe one year ago this week we started our blog?! We sure have come a long way since then! (Click here to see our first entry!)

Thanks for checking up on us! We're sure to have lots more adventures in the years to come!

Lots of Love, Patrick and Aidan

Graduates!

Today we graduated from our baby gymnastics class!

We learned SO much this summer at class, like how to do rolls:
Aidan

Patrick

And how to hang on the bar:

Today Patrick even climbed up the mat while hanging onto the bar!

We played with balls:

And just had fun climbing all over everything!

We had a little ceremony at the end of class and all the ladies got all teared up when our teacher got all teary eyed talking about all that we have accomplished this semester. Can you believe when we started this class Aidan and just taken his first steps and Patrick wasn't even walking yet?! Now we're hanging onto bars and doing flips! Pretty impressive stuff if you ask us! We got to climb up to the top of a podium and get a sticker and a ribbon from our great teacher. Here we are looking so big and getting our first ribbon!

Checking out our cool new ribbons and stickers!
Yay us! We can't wait to go back in a few weeks and learn even more!

Safari

Today we went on a safari to the park!

First, Patrick had to test out which way the wind was blowing so we knew where to go.
Quick! Aidan spotted something!
I was a cute Patrick!
Time to drive the boat!
Oh no! We are lost on our 30 minute tour (our 30 minute tour)
Time to drive away and find our way home!

Last stop before home - down the big slide!

What a fun day at the park!

Doppelganger?

I fell and got an icky scrape on my face the other day. Now everyone is saying I look just like someone. Can you guess who?

Need a few hints? Here goes:
He's of German descent.

No one quite knows why, but they loved him over in Germany. Everyone else thinks he is a terrible excuse for a man.
Got it? That's right! I look just like...

DAVID HASSELHOFF!

I don't know about you, but I totally see it. The thick, beautiful hair, the amazingly deep blue eyes - we could be twins. Too bad for him I already have a twin...

Did you get it right? You didn't think I was talking about someone else, did you?!

Shoes!

I LOVE me some shoes! I've been getting peoples shoes for them for a while now, but I recently discovered that I can put them on too!

Be careful where you leave your shoes - I may find them and wear them all around!

A day at the Museum

Today we went on an adventure to the museum for kids! We were pretty tentative at first, but once we figured out we could touch and play with everything we were all over the place! Here's our day in (mass amounts of) pictures!

We started our day off in a pretend city! Our favorite part was the grocery store. We spent a long time putting things in and out of carts, and sorting the different fruit and veggies.
We were really excited when we found the bananas, because they are our favorite food, and we can BOTH say banana!

Next we were off to the water and bubbles room! Patrick headed straight for the bubbles!

And Aidan went for the water. They had little balls you could put in the tubes and watch them make their way back out that were so fun!

Patrick got really excited when he discovered a hand dryer that turned on as soon as you put your hand under it. He kept going back, turning it on, and then running away laughing! Silly boy!

Then we found the trucks and wheels. We had to be pulled away from the steering wheels because they were so much fun!

Our last stop was a room with caves, fish, and even a turtle! Patrick loved playing peek-a-boo as he came out of the caves!

Aidan was fascinated by the turtle and the fish!

By the end, we were really tired!

It was a fun and busy day at the museum!

Caution: Men with Spoons at Work

Since we hadn't yet had our baths today, Brittany let us eat our yogurt for snack all by ourselves!

Aidan is all about using the spoon and fork these days!

Patrick is really good at it too!

Except when he decides his hands work faster and better!

Well, it's off to the tubby with us!
