Spring Break Museum fun!

On Friday we got another date with Derek and went to the museum for kids! We had so much fun playing with him at one of our favorite places!

Our trip wouldn't be complete if we didn't take a turn to drive the school bus!

Chef Patrick cooked us some food in the restaurant
Critic Aidan thought it was good stuff!

Our favorite part was the new blocks exhibit. We had so much fun building towers!

Then we stopped for lunch and had fun playing "Where's Aidan?"/peekaboo!

It was so fun Patrick had to get in on it, too!

We had a very fun day! Thanks for spending time with us Derek!

The land of fishies

Today we got to go on a trip with cousin Derek and Brittany to see lots and LOTS of fish! We had so much fun!

When we got there, they had little pools where we could touch some star fish. We were brave and very gentle with them!

Looking at some tropical fishies
We loved the jelly fish! And we really loved that you could see through the little tubes they were in! :) (see Patrick hiding behind it?)

Looking at the sting rays
Watching the sharks over head with Derek
A really, REALLY big turtle! (Aidan's favorite!)
Aidan loved looking up and seeing the fish swimming over his head!
We made a quick trip to the Lego store on our way out :)
We had such a fun day! Thanks for coming to play with us, Derek!

Silly Aidan

I was playing in the ball pit the other day while Brittany was reading Patrick a story. After they were finished, I came out and showed them what I had been working on. :)

(Excuse Brittany's total giggle break down. I think she worries we'll only remember her as the crazy lady laughing in the back of most of our home movies someday!)

OBC and a Field Trip

A quick note on the completion of Operation Birth Control, since we didn't get a chance to get back to the computer: We did it again! We got really sick and ended up spending 4 (yes, 4!) hours at Urgent Care on Sunday afternoon. We both have "massive" ear infections and are grumpy! We spent the rest of Operation Birth Control whining and crying and not sleeping, so it's pretty safe to say we succeeded once again! We never let you down, Mom and Dad!

Now for our fun field trip - today we went to the Fire Station! It was hard to sit still and listen to them talk about fire safety, but it was really really fun to see the trucks!! We had a great time and learned a lot!

Brittany tried to take a picture with us in front of the firemen's gear, but there were so many cool things to look at over here!

Oh! And over here!

Then we got to climb up into the firetruck and look around. Here's Patrick sitting in the big seat:

And Aidan, too! (I wasn't scared, just annoyed that Brittany kept trying to make me look at her)

We got one last picture on the front of the #1 Engine and then it was time to go!

We had so much fun at the Fire Station!!

Operation Birth Control strikes again!

Yesterday morning Mom and Dad left on a big airplane, so that means it's nice for another Operation Birth Control mission! If you've missed out on any of our entries on previous Operation Birth Controls, (which you can go back and read by clicking on the "Operation Birth Control" link below) it's where we put our not-as-nice feet forward so that Brittany and her husband, Dan, don't start to enjoy having kids around 24/7 and want one of their own. Can you imagine how disappointed they'd be when they baby came out not even half as cute as we are?! It's a tragedy we're doing our best to avoid.

We started off easy and had a great day yesterday. Today we pulled out our favorite trick for her and Patrick started running a fever. He's got a really snotty nose and isn't sleeping well because he's coughing and all stuffed up, which in turn keeps Aidan up and grumpy as well. It's the perfect combo for Operation Birth Control!

We got out for a walk this afternoon because it was so beautiful outside. We loved being toted around in our wagon!

We can't wait for the snow to melt so we can go to the park!

Don't worry too much about Brittany. We made sure to lay the night time snuggles and cuteness really thick. We know just the way to her heart!

We'll be back tomorrow with more fun Operation Birth Control fun!

Happy Valentines Day!

Dear Nana, Papa, Grandpa and Grandma Terry,

We know we can't send mail to the warm places you're at right now, so we just wanted to say:
We colored it all by ourselves! Brittany tried to get some pictures of us with our sign for you,  but not all of us were feeling up to it...

...So you'll just have to settle for some cute picture of the family ham who is always happy to pose for pictures!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Love, Aidan and Patrick
