Zoo!

We got to spend the morning at the zoo and it was SOO fun! We saw all kinds of different animals and even recognized some of them from all the books we read!

Patrick LOVED seeing the monkeys and kept trying to get out of the stroller and get in there to play with them!

We had a great view of the main character from our all time favorite book - Lazy Lion!

Brittany's super cool cousin, Kaycie (and Brittany's mom) came with us today. Kaycie is so much fun and we love her!

Asserting our independence

The last two mornings we have been throwing fits when Brittany tries to give us oatmeal or yogurt. We've been trying and trying to tell her what we wanted and just this morning she finally figured it out! Any guesses?

We wanted to do it all by ourselves! I mean, really, who does she think we are? Fourteen month old babies or something?! Hopefully now she's got it figured out and we can feed ourselves the messy breakfast food - even when it's not a bath day!

14 Months!

It's been awhile since we did a monthly update to let you all know what we're up to!

We are both:

• Climbing everything we can! We especially love hustling up the stairs.
• Great eaters, although you'd never know it. We're still tiny little guys!
• Into anything and everything with buttons. They are the coolest!
• Learning lots of new words everyday
• Park babies! It's our favorite place!
• Teething. All fours molars are making their way up and they hurt!
• Good sleepers. Although during nap you sometimes change your mind and stay up and talk
• Love tubby time!

Patrick, you are:

• A great shape sorter and you are a pro at remembering where the blue circle goes! :)
• Sometimes the worlds slowest eater, and sometimes you eat so fast you'd never think we put any food in front of you!
• Very outgoing we when are with other kids at the library
• Great at playing on your own
• A trouble maker! You flash a smile like you know you're in trouble but think you're too cute for us to do anything about it
• Practicing your singing voice all the time. You love to here it in the microphone toy you have, too!

Aidan, you are:

• Silly, silly, silly! 
• Very clingy when we are around other kids and their moms
• SOOOO close to walking! You took steps right before mom and dad left and while they were gone, but decided that was all the walking you needed to do. We're hoping you'll get interested again soon!
• Great at walking with the grocery cart toy sideways. You look like a cute little old man with a walker!
• Outdoorsy. Anytime we go outside you are one happy baby.

You are both such fun and happy babies and I'm excited to see what next month has in store for us! (Walking?!?!?)

Some bunny to love

We've been so busy these past few days we haven't had a chance to give you all and update! We had a super wonderful Easter and even got presents from the Easter Bunny! Check out our new snuggly bunnies!

My bunny makes a great pillow!

We've been a bit under the weather and both have an ear infection. It sounds like a bummer, but it's not! We get to take the most yummy medicine in the whole world twice a day! It couldn't be better! We're on the mend now and have been getting lots of great outings to the park and the library. At library day yesterday there were two other sets of twins, and one set was two girls!! We don't have to tell you how much we laid on the charm. Never hurts to star working the ladies early!
